AK47 game.

The other Friday night we had a game set  during the  Vietnam war. The rules we used were AK 47.

I hadn't read the rules and this was really just a run through to try them out.

The Americans were already on the table along with a number of objective markers.

The VC  arrived at the corners with the plan of capturing the objectives. I think in the end the Americans managed to hold on to enough of the objectives to claim the win.

    I was looking at those crisply presented vehicles and was wondering: yours, Rodger, or Adrian's? Very eye catching, the whole thing.

    Beautifully painted vehicles and figures and neat terrain. I used AK47 rules for African Imagi-nations games about 15 years ago and very great fun they were too. The Peter Pig figures were ideal for these smallish scale fast play games. What killed it for me was actually going to Africa and experiencing the poverty and corruption at first hand, after that I couldn't "game" it. I guess you are safe with Vietnam :-)
