French Line Lancers.


Here are my French Lancers of the line.  I have always liked the look of the 5th so they were the first to get painted.  The 6th were brigaded with the 5th at Waterloo so I decided to paint the other unit I had as the 6th. The figures are by Front Rank and the flags by GMB.

    Very nice; the blue-faced 5th Lancers is one of my favorite units... and it usually performs well on the tabletop, too!

    Lovely job mate - I've always liked Lancers, and the Britsh 17th Lancers have been a favourite since I painted a unit up for my Zulu War Army in 15mm.

    Fantastic - I have the 6th in 25mm aswell, and I am currently painting the 6th in 15mm too. Green and red, you can't go wrong !
