Another Christmas present finally painted up. This time it is the Royal Horse Artillery in 28mm. When I first saw them I couldn't wait to get paint on them but I really struggled to get them done.

Scots Greys in support. |

Foot and horse artillery with some infantry lurking in the background. |
All the artillery figures are Front Rank.
Very nice job, well presented
ReplyDeleteThanks Scott.
DeleteLovely work, as usual, Rodger.
ReplyDeleteWhy the struggle? Just motivation, or were they difficult to paint?
Just motivation I think Rosbif. Trying to do too much at the same time. Napoleonic artillery, WW1 ruined buildings, WW1 tanks and WW2 infantry.
DeleteThey look great! Front Rank are some of the best figures around. Best, Dean
ReplyDeleteI have a real soft spot for FR.
DeleteNow that is one classy unit Rodger. Beautifully done Sir!
ReplyDeleteThese troops are very nicely painted and posed, Sir!
ReplyDeleteGreat painted guns and crews!
ReplyDeleteLovely paint job on these. You have inspired me to dig mine out and get them painted.
ReplyDeleteGreate looking minis !
ReplyDeleteBest regards Michael
Just lovely! Great work!
ReplyDeleteI really need to get me some of these. Two different crew sets from the Perrys is just too little choice and these are just such lovely minis anyway!
Yes, as everyone else has said these are really nice, paint work is top notch.
ReplyDeleteSuperb work Roger. Well worth the effort and the detail on the figures is terrific.
ReplyDeleteLets hope your Mojo is back!
Model on!
Fine looking trops , well presented!
ReplyDeleteTrès belles photos. Christian
ReplyDeleteExceptional standard of work, Rodger! Was that a freshly painted Daddy Hill and ADC somewhere in the background of the guns? You certainly have been busy. What's next?
ReplyDeleteYes Wayne that is a Mr Hill there. Good spotting! Next is more WW1 stuff.
DeleteThe are wonderful pieces there and a great paintjob on them. When to they get to see action against the frogs?
ReplyDeleteI hope that a game is not too far away.
DeleteThanks for all the comments guys.
ReplyDeleteWonderful minis and great paint job
ReplyDeleteNicely done Rodger. I have a few of those Front Rank guns in my collection too.
ReplyDeleteCheers
Dave
Great looking figures. Good job. Sometimes as painter/builders we can spread ourselves over too many projects. Such is the life of a gamer. :)
ReplyDeletecheers
Excellent artillery Rodger!
ReplyDeleteA great sun on fantastic figures! A great job, a "Royal" result!
ReplyDeletePretty cool stuff, I bet that's a fun thing to do.
ReplyDeleteExcellent work! The paintjob as the basing!
ReplyDeleteGreetings
Peter
