Medieval Beginnings.

I have had these guys for many many years, sitting in a bag at the bottom of an old ammo tin! While looking for something different to paint up awhile ago I rediscovered them along with some Men at Arms and some Knights.
After talking with some of the other guys in the group, all of whom have a collection of  medieval troops that need a reason to be brought out into the light, we decided to paint up a few and have some games with them.

These are, of course, the Games Workshop Bretonnian Archers with the exception of two Front Rank chaps added in for good measure.

The colour scheme is totally fictitious, as is the flag.

I am calling this a unit, six 50 x 50mm stands.

I intend to make some stands of stakes at some point in the future.
