I found the photos for a number of our games that were played in the last year or two still on the camera. This one was played last year I think.

It involved German Paras dropping on British soil to gain control of some supplies ahead of the invasion.

The other week we had a wee practice game for the up coming Southern Strategists game on the following Wednesday night.
Basically a run through of the rules, Rugged Adventures, and a trial run of the table set up.

More or less the same game as we played about 6 months ago.

The basic scenario was the same for all three games.

The Germans start with two groups in separate parts of the table. A group from the aircraft and a group of paratroops that have been dropped in to help them out. These two groups can meet up and then re- sort themselves into several groups as they see fit.

For the British, they start in three groups. Two groups of Home Guard and a group of police.

With a couple of Dad's Army type games coming up I have finally finished off the Warlord Games Dad's Army figures. The figures of them in uniform were finished mid way through last year.

Don't panic, don't panic!

Just a few photos of a recent Friday night game.

It involved the Home Guard, the local police force, the crew from a shot down German bomber, a highly trained unit of German Para's and a very unhappy German General.

I can't reveal too much as we intend to do this game again with the Southern Strategists.
However it was a very close and enjoyable game that came right down to the very last turn and in fact the very last shot of the game.
