French Line Infantry .

Over the Christmas break I finally finished off another French Line Infantry regiment. This is the 4th regiment in a brigade of 4. The other three units have been painted for a few years now.  All the units are from Front Rank, 3 Line and 1 Light. Flags from GMB.

  6. I do love Front Rank figures, in the unit in the first few pics you must have nearly everyone of their figures, it makes the unit look alive, very well done that man!!

    1. I suspect you might be right there Ray. I saw a photo of a unit that someone else had done once like that and so.... I like that they are all basically the same, but different.

  17. These are absolutely brilliant. I always had a weak-spot for Frontrank. They paint incredibly well and offer a good variety.

You've done them great justice with your great painting.

  19. Excellent painted unit. I like the difference in uniforms a lot.

I only don't understand why the drummer has a green jacket? Can you tell why he has such jacket?

    1. The green jackets were know as Imperial livery, that was introduced by Napoleon around 1812/1813 for all musicians in the army. Difficult to know when this may have come in to bing but I like the extra colour in the units.
