In the Sudan

Just a few photos of a recent battle fought in the Sudan by the Southern Strategists. The rules are Black Powder. The place was the Redwood Redoubt. The full battle report can be found on Gavin's brand new blog http://tabletoptactician.blogspot.com/ and also on the Southern Strategists blog http://southern-strategists.blogspot.com/. These are some of the other photos that didn't make the cut.

  3. Looks like great fun. Interesting to see use of WOTR basing, presumably those figures also see action in skirmish games?

  6. I opted for the Warhammer bases so I could use figures individually for skirmish games or to hide figs in terrain etc if I chose. I may opt for a looser style of basing for natives to represent their un-regimented style. Thanks all for your encouraging feedback. Ive seen most of your work so praise from you chaps is high praise indeed.
